Tesla's board of directors announce 2025 shareholder meeting proposals

On September 5, 2025, Robyn Denholm wrote a letter. She is a top leader at Tesla. She wrote to people who own parts of Tesla (shareholders).

In the letter, Robyn said Tesla wants to give special shares to its workers again. She also said they want to give a big award to Elon Musk. He is the CEO of Tesla. This award is like an old one from 2018. But a court said the 2018 award was not fair and stopped it.

Robyn said Elon must make Tesla worth much more money. Tesla needs to grow to $8.5 trillion in 10 years. Today, Tesla is worth about $1.1 trillion. If he does this, he gets the award.

For the award, Tesla also needs to do other big things:

• Make $400 billion profit.
• Sell 20 million Tesla cars.
• Have 10 million people use 'self-driving' in their cars.
• Sell 1 million Optimus robots.
• Have 1 million robot-taxis driving people.

If Elon meets all these goals, he will get 12% of Tesla's shares. These shares could be worth $1.02 trillion. He cannot sell them for 5 years. He will not get a regular salary or cash bonus.

Tesla also has other ideas for the owners to vote on:

• Choose new people for the company board.
• Let Tesla invest money in Elon's other company, xAI.
• Check that no child workers are used.
• Agree to not take political sides.

The owners will vote on all these ideas. The meeting is on November 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM. It will be at the Tesla factory in Texas.
